What should I do if my AC is blowing warm air intermittently?

Start with quick checks, then schedule a diagnostic if the issue returns. Replace a dirty filter. Set the thermostat to Cool and Auto, not Fan. Open all supply and return vents. If airflow is weak or coils are icy, turn the AC off to thaw; a technician can straighten bent fins and fix the cause. Low refrigerant or a failing part can cause warm air; we test components and recharge refrigerant. Seasonal cleaning of indoor and outdoor units prevents debris-related temperature swings. Emergency service is available.
