- Stop DIY and call a pro if you notice: spreading ceiling or wall stains, musty odors, or bubbling paint.
- Floors that feel warm, a meter that spins with fixtures off, or damp slabs.
- Sewer odors, a soggy yard, or gurgling drains.
- Active spraying, corrosion on fittings, or any leak near electricity. Always shut off water to the area (or the main) before any work and avoid opening ceilings with wet wiring nearby.
